Hublot, the unique Swiss luxury watch company has reason to celebrate as brand ambassador Dustin Johnson secured his 4th win of the PGA Tour season, timing his dramatic surge up the leader board at The Northern Trust Open in New York to perfection. DJ overcame a 5 shot deficit, shooting a final round 66 to take the championship into extra holes. An impressive 341 yard drive, left the world #1 95 yards for his second, which was executed with great precision, nestling just 4 feet from the hole. Birdie on the first extra playoff hole was enough to secure the championship and set up an exciting run in through the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Dustin Johnson has been a Hublot ambassador since March and has become the face of the Swiss watchmaker partnership with the great game of golf, alongside fellow champions; Justin Rose, Olympic Champion and Ryder Cup hero, Patrick Reed.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, shared: “We would like to congratulate Dustin on a tremendous victory and applaud his determination to own the moment and set up a captivating run in for the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Hublot is proud to be associated with an athlete that represents some of our most cherished traits and characteristics; precision, expertise, excellence and style. DJ is a credit to our brand and with this win has shown us all there is a true art to perfect timing.”
Dustin Johnson has become an avid Hublot collector and among his favorite pieces are the Big Bang UNICO Sapphire All Black, the Big Bang Unico Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Black Magic, and the Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve All Black. All dressed in blue, the Champion was wearing the Classic Fusion Chronograph Blue in ceramic as he hoisted The Northern Trust Open trophy to celebrate his victory.
