Palace, London’s hippest streetwear and skateboarding lifestyle brand, has had a longstanding and successful partnership with Adidas Originals, the streetwear-inspired line of shoes, apparel, and accessories from Adidas. The two brands have ventured together in other performance sports, including a Wimbledon tennis-inspired collection in 2018 and a collaboration with Juventus Football Club (soccer), in 2019.

Most recently, Palace and Adidas Originals have turned their attention to golf. In a collaborative effort to bring new looks to the golf course, the streetwear giants have teamed up and introduced the Palace x Adidas Golf collection.

The Palace x Adidas Golf collaboration is a street-ready collection of sportswear, accessories, and footwear fit for the golf course. With faithful reworkings of tonal polo shirts with colorful detailing, two classic T-shirts, and some hard-wearing outerwear for winter golf season, the apparel for the collection blends Palace’s signature aesthetic and logo with Adidas’ performance wear heritage.

The accessories include a golf cap, towel, socks, and sleeve, all in black with white stripe detailing, and the collection is completed by two pairs of unique Palace golf shoes.

During The 2020 Genesis Open at LA’s Riviera Country Club in February, several of Adidas’s top Golf ambassadors, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, and John Rahm, stood out from the other players, by sporting the Palace x Adidas Golf outfits in lime green, orange, and white.

“Golf and skating actually aren’t as disparate as they seem.”

– Lev Tanju, Palace founder

Palace founder Lev Tanju, who helped develop the collection, noticed the subtleties between golf and skateboarding, quoted in a GQ interview, “golf and skating actually aren’t as disparate as they seem. “In both, you need to have patience, and just how hard it is really,” he says. “You need to be delicate, yet powerful at certain times.”
