Legendary Swiss watchmaker Chopard outdid themselves this time with unveiling of their new ladies watch called the Happy Sport Golf Edition. The timepiece comes with a bezel decorated with five diamonds betwixt two sapphires. The watchband is a green calfskin to resemble a fairway, and face behind the hands is green like a putting green. The topper of all is the five diamonds made to resemble golf balls that roll across this custom green. The metal is an 18k rose gold with stainless steel, the crown metal is also 18k rose gold. The watch is also water resistant up to 30 meters.
The creation of Chopard designer Ronald Kurowski, The Happy Diamonds idea was launched in 1976 and use the method of recreating prisms and sparking reflections similar to waterfalls using the diamonds. The idea was then rejuvenated and expanded upon in 1993 when a new line of watches was launched by Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele. This created the line of Happy Sport and every new product added has a theme, this one’s theme was obviously golf.
