Manors Golf is inspired by the style and sophistication of golf’s bygone era of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and aims to reclaim the classic epoch, but with a contemporary flair. The UK based clothing brand officially launched in Europe and in America this summer with a mission to change the perception of golf, swapping stuffy for stylish.
Motivated by the wardrobes worn by iconic golfers such as Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player, the Manors Classic Collection for fall/winter 2019 addressed a trendsetting streetwear audience. The collection features vintage-style polo shirts, cardigan sweaters, turtlenecks, and herringbone trousers.
According to an interview by South West Londoner, Manors co-founder Jojo Regan, 26, said: “Manors is on a mission to change the perception of golf. For too long golf has been the snobbish sport of suburbia reserved for the elite and old-timers who have time to fill, in five years we want Manors clubhouses that give our members access to local courses, a community of players who take part in competitions and a clothing range that is versatile with sport and street options.”
