During Miami Art Week’s Art Basel Miami Beach, Kith and BMW unveiled their latest partnership. This seamless blend of automotive excellence and high-end fashion debuted the one-of-a-kind 2025 BMW XM Kith Concept, a reimagined 1981 BMW M1 E26, and an exclusive Kith for BMW apparel and lifestyle collection. Marking the third chapter in their collaboration, it bridges the gap between luxury cars and lifestyle design.
The centerpiece of the Kith and BMW unveil was the bespoke BMW XM Kith Concept, a high-performance plug-in hybrid Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) from BMW. Designed by Fieg alongside BMW M, it featured a striking Frozen Techno Violet paint job, backlit Kith logos, and custom purple lighting. This bold concept car offered a glimpse into the inspiration for the forthcoming limited edition (47 units) 2025 BMW XM by Kith.
Inside, the XM Kith Concept elevated luxury with M Carbon bucket seats featuring embossed Kith monograms and illuminated logos. Cutting-edge technology seamlessly merged with Kith’s signature aesthetic. Lowered suspension and widened tracks paid homage to BMW’s motorsport heritage, reminiscent of the legendary BMW M1.
Adding historical depth to the exhibit, the 1981 BMW M1 E26, a meticulously restored, iconic, mid-engined car in Techno Violet, customized by Ronnie Fieg, offered a tangible link to BMW M’s heritage. This unique creation featured a co-branded emblem and a Kith monogram-adorned interior, reflecting Kith’s design ethos.
