The traditional image of golf is one of country clubs, collared shirts, and older, white men. But the game is undergoing a rapid transformation, with a growing number of people playing off-course, in more casual settings. This off-course movement is attracting a younger and more diverse audience, and TaylorMade, PopStroke, and Tiger Woods are partnering to elevate the putting experience for this new generation of golfers.
PopStroke is a putting and casual dining concept that merges a technologically advanced competitive golf environment with food and beverage. The company has five locations in Florida, one in Houston, Texas, and two venues under construction in Arizona. With this partnership, TaylorMade will join an ownership team that includes PopStroke Entertainment Group and Tiger Woods.
The partnership will bring TaylorMade’s expertise in golf equipment and technology to PopStroke, creating an even more immersive and enjoyable putting experience for guests. TaylorMade will also provide premium rental putters and special edition golf balls for patrons to use on the putting course.
In addition to the upscale putting courses, PopStroke offers experiential dining with a full-service restaurant, multiple sports bars, private event spaces, a playground for kids, various gaming experiences, and more. This makes it a perfect destination for friends, families, and corporate events.
“We are excited to partner with TaylorMade as we continue to introduce our unique putting and dining experience to golfers of all ages and abilities,” said PopStroke CEO Greg Bartoli. “The combination of PopStroke, Tiger and TaylorMade not only brings unique international visibility but accelerates our trajectory as we push to become the premier brand in golf entertainment.”
“We were truly inspired by the family orientation of the PopStroke model,” said TaylorMade CEO David Abeles. “After experiencing it personally, watching golfers from every generation and skill level interacting in a way that reflects the joy of golf, we knew this was something we had to be a part of.”
This partnership is a sign of the growing popularity of off-course golf. As more people discover the fun and excitement of this new way to play, the game of golf is becoming more inclusive and accessible than ever before.
