5-Days in Utah
Nestled in the American Southwest, is the city of Moab, Utah — which is surrounded by thousands of square miles of the Canyonlands and Arches National Park. Its distinct red rock landscapes carved out by over 300 million years of storms, winds, and violent floods, attract visitors from all over the world.
Situated in Eastern Utah, Moab is the perfect destination for anyone in search of an action-packed challenge. From the moment the wheels of your Discovery, Range Rover or Range Rover Sport hit the first trail, you’ll realize this is not for the faint-hearted. Surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world means you may find it tough to keep your eyes on the road, especially when there aren’t any. Your adventure will consist of 5 days, 4 nights and include 3 full days of off-road driving, complemented with the rustic comfort of Red Cliffs Lodge where views of the Colorado River will greet you each morning and night. Red Cliffs Lodge is also home to the award-winning Castle Creek Winery and offers a range of activities.
Red Cliffs Lodge
DAY 1
Flying into the Grand Junction Airport, you will be met by a Land Rover representative and taken to the picturesque Red Cliffs Lodge, situated on the banks of the Colorado River. For the duration of your stay, you will be looked after by our team who are dedicated to making your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. After welcome drinks and a chance to meet and chat with your fellow explorers, there will be an initial welcome meeting held by the Land Rover Team followed by dinner in the private dining room.
Seven Mile Rim Trail
DAY 2
After breakfast, you’ll head out to tackle the formidable Seven Mile Rim Trail behind the wheel of the Discovery, Range Rover or Range Rover Sport. Along the drive, you’ll see many of the iconic rock monuments such as Merrimac Butte and Determination Towers, as well as the extraordinary and gravity-defying, Uranium Arch. Lunch will be served on the trail allowing you to marvel at this staggering landscape. Then it’s back to your vehicle to complete the rest of the adventure on this challenging terrain. Dinner will be served in Moab at the vibrant Desert Bistro Restaurant.
Poison Spider Trail
DAY 3
Set out to enjoy the breath-taking scenery along the Poison Spider Trail. Flanked by the stunning Moab landscape and the Colorado River, the sloping rock layers provide a more extreme off-roading test. Lunch will be served on the trail, where you’ll have a much-needed chance to catch your breath before heading back out to complete your second trail. The evening dinner will consist of a traditional camp fire dinner and barbecue.
Hell’s Revenge Trail
DAY 4
After breakfast and the morning briefing, we will tackle our third and final trail. The unforgiving Hell’s Revenge Trail where your skills will be pushed to the absolute limits, forcing you to call on everything you’ve learned over the previous two days. Steep climbs and descents make up most of the trail meaning this is not one for the faint of heart. But of course, our expert instructors will be there to guide you through every step of the way. Lunch will be served on the trail allowing you to soak up these incredible vistas for a final time. Evening dinner will be a private function where certificates will be presented.
Moab golf course
DAY 5
If you’re not quite ready for your crusade to finish just yet, you could always sign-up for one of our additional activities. What better way to finish your experience than improving your handicap on the Moab golf course, or trekking through this breathtaking landscape on horseback. Or if it’s a bit of pampering you’re in need of, then surely a sports massage is the perfect way to wind down along with a relaxing soak in a hot tub or simply unwinding in the pool or hot tub.
